COVID-19 Update

To the Green Machine family,

As we all collectively face these extraordinary challenges from the outbreak of COVID-19, the Olympic Kingsway Sports Club will continue to follow the direct counsel from the FFA and Football West in relation to all Football activities.

We are disappointed that our seasons have been postponed but we must take every precautionary measure to protect the health and safety of our wider community.

FOOTBALL REGISTRATIONS

Yes, we are still taking all Football registrations through our registrar, Denis. He can be reached on registrar@olympic-kingsway.com.au

Please note, we cannot currently refund any existing registration fees until we receive further updates and information on the 2020 season. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

TRAINING SKILLS

While our training sessions are currently suspended, our junior Technical Director, Alex Damianopoulos, has created a list of 100 skills players can practice at home. We are featuring these different training skills on our social media platforms so please send us a video wearing your #GreenMachine colours!

CLUBROOMS

Our clubrooms will continue to operate as per Government guidelines. Please note, this information is changing rapidly from day to day as we ask you to contact your team leaders to double check if your event is going ahead including Bingo and Darts.

KINGSWAY FARMERS’ MARKETS

As of Wednesday, March 18, community farmers’ markets were confirmed as an essential service. Our Markets on Saturday mornings from 8am to 12pm will continue to open as it’s an outdoor event with less than 500 people.  All instruction on ‘social distancing’ will be monitored with stall holders also needing to follow strict hygiene protocol.

Finally, on behalf of our board of management, we hope you and loved ones are coping with these unprecedented times.
